How it works

Start by putting your long URL into the box above. You can add as many long URLs as you like - our tool will convert all of them into short URLs for you and redirect them free! Once you have done this, click "Shorten my URLs!" and you will be presented with your free short URLs. Share these short URLs with your friends. Feel free to use them absolutely anywhere!

When your friends click on your new short URL, they will be first presented with a screen showing them some details about the long URL they are about to be redirected to (the long URL you first entered into the system).

Your friends will be allowed to opt-out of the redirect. Your friends can determine whether or not they would like to go to your long URL as they are given information, such as the long URL, title, description and even an image snapshot of your website! This is a safety precaution and protects your friends from visiting any unsavory websites.

Once your friends opt to follow your redirect, they will be sent to your long URL immediately.
